Biography
Sweet Bronco is the solo project of South Florida singer-songwriter
Christopher J. Horgan. A prolific songwriter and versatile musician,Horgan has written for and played in a number of established bands in South Florida and Los Angeles.
Two years ago, Horgan left his humid home of Fort Lauderdale to dry out in arid Southern California. Inspired by the golden vistas and solitary dark nights of the long drive west, he conceived of a folk infused rock project that he came to call Sweet Bronco. While playing keyboards in the premier L.A. shoegaze band Eskimohunter, Horgan started writing and recording songs for a concept album combining the autobiographical themes of seafaring, endless night, and collective aimlessness.
Sweet Bronco is currently booking and playing live shows around Florida. In between shows, Sweet Bronco is back in the studio putting the finishing touches on the soon-to-be released mini-album Alive and Living Well. Sweet Bronco plans to tour Florida and Georgia in late July and the rest of the Southeast U.S. in September.
