The Eclipse show in Jacksonville on Thursday was oh-so-worth the drive.
The Celestials were super-rad and all the sweet people we met had them some
class. We sure hope Lisa and the gang at Eclipse have us back someday soon!

Tonight almost concludes sweet bronco's Florida mini-tour. Despite waking
up with a mean soar throat on Thursday morn, SB and InkPen (of moodvane.com)
took to the Florida Pike on up to Gainesville to play a house party hosted
by Psychodelic-Shoegaze rockers (or "Blues-gaze" as Zach puts it), Ancient
River. After resting the old vocal chords and sucking down DayQuil and
Riccolas all day, SB was ready to give it the old college try. Hip Hop duo
Scum of the Earth was already bouncing the house when we arrived. Then
Ancient River melted our faces and singed our skulls with their
rock-so-resonant. Though perhaps too resonant as they had to cut their set
short due a blown amp.

Then it was sweet bronco's turn to have some technicals of their own. But
the crowd was merry and some moments were shared. The set went something
like:
1. Free Ride
2. Permanent Dream
3. N Star
4. Our at Sea

Then Zechs Marquise (from El Paso, TX) made us all feel very priveleged to
experience such a talented group of musicians in such an intimate setting
before the fuzz came to shut things down.

Next SB and InkPen motored on up to Jacksonville for another house party and
some informal Tom Petty, etc. jams. All were well watered before we turned
back south for our rendevous with Stardust Video & Coffee in Orlando. After
some car trouble in Saint Augustine we limped into O-town with time to spare.
Framboise was the order of the evening as our good friend Timothy Hicks was
on hand to deliver his sweet PlansBasic stylings.

It's official. His royal sweetness will be introducing himself to Orlando
this coming Sunday June 22nd at Stardust Video & Coffee. We will likely be
drinking some things and shaking some asset cheeks. It is as yet
unconfirmed, but there will likely also be performances by Tim Hicks
(PlainsBasic) and other sweet treats. SB can hardly contain himself!

1. Yesterday's Tomorrow Is Today
2. N Star

Beware the Ides of March. Our old friend Marco Argiro was in town last
night with his new band The Mood from NYC. They played a set at Radioactive
Records in Fort Lauderdale before heading down to Rock Bar on the beach for
2+ hour rock 'n' roll-athon. The Mood were nice enough to ask Sweet Bronco
and Evan Rowe (from Catalonia) each to open acoustic sets. SB and Evan
happy to share the stage.

1. Entreaty (Come On)
2. N Star

After that, The Mood promptly enlisted all in attendance to their own school
of rock and taught us a thing or three.
